Choosing sofa fabric is about more than colour — it decides how long your sofa stays looking new. In a workshop that sees hundreds of sofas a year, we've learned which fabrics hold up and which ones show wear within months.
For homes with kids or pets, a tightly woven cotton-blend or leatherette resists stains and is easy to wipe clean. Velvet looks luxurious but needs a dry, low-dust environment to stay fresh. Linen breathes well in Indian summers but creases more easily.
Whatever fabric you choose, ask about GSM (fabric weight) — higher GSM generally means better durability. And always ask for a swatch before committing to a full sofa order, so you can see how it looks in your own room's light.
